If you want a rugged, over-ear studio monitor built for long sessions and precise mixing, choose Audio-Technica ATH-M70x; if you need hyper-detailed spatial audio gaming headphones for mobile gaming with pinpoint instrument separation, choose Linsoul ZiiGaat Luna 6BA.
• Audio-Technica ATH-M70x: Its biggest strength is the massive 45mm dynamic drivers delivering a balanced frequency range from 5 Hz to 40 kHz in a durable metal-and-leather chassis; its trade-off is the circumaural design which can feel bulky during extended active movement. This pick is for professionals who prioritize sound isolation and robust build quality in a fixed studio or DJ environment.
• Linsoul ZiiGaat Luna 6BA: Its biggest strength lies in the six balanced armature drivers per side that provide exceptional detail retrieval and a wide soundstage ideal for identifying directional cues; its trade-off is the in-ear form factor which offers no physical cushioning around the ear compared to large cups. This pick is for audiophiles and gamers seeking reference-grade clarity and a lightweight fit for immersive mobile gaming.
The Audio-Technica ATH-M70x is engineered as a professional studio monitor, and that distinction shapes every aspect of its design. At the heart of this headphone is a proprietary 45-millimeter large aperture driver. These drivers are tuned to reproduce extreme low frequencies down to 5 Hz and high frequencies up to 40,000 Hz while maintaining perfect balance. If your primary concern is accuracy—whether you are mixing tracks, mastering audio, or analyzing sound forensics—this frequency response provides a canvas that reveals every nuance without coloring the source material. The 35 ohm impedance and 97 dB sensitivity ensure they work well with standard equipment, but their true power comes from the ability to handle loud environments with excellent sound isolation.
For the user who spends hours in front of a mixing desk or in a busy control room, the ATH-M70x offers a circumaural design that contours directly around the ears. This physical seal is not just about comfort; it creates a barrier against external noise, allowing you to focus entirely on the audio signal. The build quality reinforces this utility, utilizing key metal components alongside faux leather and plastic to ensure lasting durability. I have seen many headphones fail under the stress of daily gigging, but the structural integrity of the M-Series line suggests this model is built to withstand the rigors of FOH work, DJing, and post-production editing. The 90-degree swiveling earcups add another layer of practicality, enabling one-ear monitoring—a feature that is indispensable when you need to hear the room while listening to a track.

However, this headphone is not designed for everyone. If you are looking for ear clip headphones for mobile gaming where you need to move freely without a cable tethered to your phone or console, the over-ear design might feel restrictive. The heavy use of metal and the substantial weight of 0.28 kg mean that these are stationary tools rather than travel companions. While the included carrying case helps with storage, the sheer size makes them less suitable for casual listening on the go. Furthermore, the wired connectivity via a 3.5 mm jack means you are locked into a single setup without wireless flexibility. You should skip this model if you prioritize portability above all else or if you prefer a lighter, more compact form factor for everyday wear.
The Linsoul ZiiGaat Luna 6BA takes a completely different approach to audio reproduction by utilizing six balanced armature drivers on each side. This configuration is distinct from the single dynamic driver found in the ATH-M70x, offering a level of technical precision that appeals to those who demand absolute clarity. The driver array is carefully curated: dual Sonion subwoofers deliver thunderous bass, while Knowles midrange and tweeter units handle the mids and trebles with pristine articulation. This setup allows the Luna to follow an in-house target tuning that prioritizes balance. With an 8dB sub-bass shelf cutting at 250Hz, the bass remains impactful for kick drums and bass guitars without bleeding into the lower midrange, keeping the mix clean and defined.
This level of detail makes the Luna particularly compelling for spatial audio gaming headphones for mobile gaming. In complex game environments where distinguishing between a distant footstep and a nearby explosion is critical, the Luna's ability to separate layers of sound is superior. The wide soundstage created by the balanced armature technology ensures that audio feels natural and expansive, helping you judge the direction of enemy fire or navigate complex levels with confidence. The frequency response extends to 32 kHz, capturing high-frequency details that other headphones might miss. Because the drivers are hand-tested and paired prior to assembly, you get consistent channel matching, which is vital for accurate stereo imaging.
The construction of the Luna is equally focused on the end-user experience, specifically for those who value comfort and customization. The shell is 3D-printed using imported medical-grade resin, making the unit both durable and incredibly lightweight at just 235 grams (for the full package including cable). This ergonomic design fits securely in the ear without the pressure points often associated with heavier headphones. The interchangeable 2-pin 0.78mm connector cable, made from silver-plated oxygen-free copper, adds another layer of utility. If the stock cable wears out or you want to upgrade to a custom wire later, the modular design ensures longevity. However, because these are in-ear monitors, they rely on passive noise cancellation through a tight seal. If you are looking for best kids headphones for mobile gaming where a secure, comfortable fit is needed for long periods without the bulk of over-ear cups, the Luna's design excels. Conversely, if you dislike having anything inside your ear canal, this product is not for you.

The six balanced armature drivers provide a level of detail and spatial separation that is simply unmatched for competitive play, allowing you to hear subtle cues like footsteps or environmental whispers that larger drivers might blur together. While the Audio-Technica ATH-M70x is a magnificent piece of engineering for studio work, its size and dynamic driver profile make it less optimal for the specific demands of mobile gaming where agility and precision are paramount. I would buy the Luna for its ability to turn any game into an immersive, three-dimensional soundscape without the bulk of over-ear cups.

Fatigue depends on the user's preference for fit. The over-ear ATH-M70x rests on the head and ears, which some find tiring over long sessions, while the in-ear Luna uses a lightweight resin shell that sits inside the canal, reducing overall weight but requiring a proper seal.
The Audio-Technica ATH-M70x features a circumaural design that contours around the ears, providing excellent sound isolation in loud environments. The Linsoul ZiiGaat Luna 6BA relies on passive noise cancellation through an in-ear seal, which blocks ambient noise effectively but differently.
Yes, the Linsoul ZiiGaat Luna 6BA comes with an interchangeable 2-pin 0.78mm connector cable, allowing you to swap it out for a custom wire. The Audio-Technica ATH-M70x has a fixed wired connection without a detachable cable mechanism.
