A recent episode of The Slow Newscast by Tortoise Media for which I designed the sound

A recent episode of The Laundry Podcast. Based in Oslo, this is a B2B podcast aimed at finance professionals. I run recordings, mix the programmes and redesigned the menu sequence.

A clip from the first programme I wrote and produced for BBC Radio 4 Extra, The Golden Age of American Radio. It was a three hour special presented by Toby Hadoke using a lot of archive audio including full-length vintage radio shows. The clip is a linking section between two full programmes. The show was Pick of the Week in the Radio Times, The Spectator, The Sunday Telegraph and various websites.

An excerpt from The Lives of Harry Towers - a three hour documentary about the controversial film & radio producer, Harry Alan Towers, which I wrote and produced for BBC Radio 4 Extra.  Based on archive audio sourced from all over the world, the show includes an interview with Humphrey Bogart which had not been broadcast for about 70 years.  Presented by Adam Roche of the Secret History of Hollywood podcast.

An excerpt from episode 9 of Soho Bites. The show has been running for nearly four years and am responsible for all aspects of the production from generating ideas, researching topics and sourcing guests to recording, editing, mixing and publishing the finished programme. In this case the link leads to a promotional audiogram on YouTube.  In this clip, Ken Hollings talks about the 1950 British film noir, Night & the City.

The first five minutes of the Christmas special of the Kino Quickies podcast. Every episode is recorded live on stage and is based on a screening of a 1930s "quota quickie", plus a Q&A with a special guest, hosted by me along with my colleague, Dr Lawrence Napper. Guests have included Pam Hutchinson, Neil Brand, Jo Botting & Gary Yershon. It was a slightly chaotic afternoon as spirits were very high, but it gives a good sense of these very successful events.

A full episode of my Soho Bites spin-off series, Mural Morsels, which was originally commissioned for broadcast on Soho Radio during the pandemic. Each episode is a conversation with a different person about a historical figure who appears in the Spirit of Soho mural on Broadwick Street in London. In this episode - recorded in a noisy Soho pub - I spoke to Jago Hazzard about Dr John Snow.
