Prospective buyers of media players can check the audible.com "Device Center" [50] to verify whether the device will play .aa files, as well as play them at the desired level of audio fidelity. Audible players are available on Apple iPhones, iPods, Android, and Windows Phone devices.

So, when I first got the Nest Hub Max and installed it, I could cast my Audible app from my phone to it with no issue. I can still cast to any other speaker or hub in the house with zero issues, but the Max in the kitchen just refuses to accept a cast. I seems to want to work and then just crashes and restarts audible on the max and shows trying to connect on the phone but nothing happens.

It's not an audible issue Muddi. It is a Google device issue, specifically a Google Nest Hub Max issue. I can cast to the speaker group, which includes this Hub Max unit, with no issue and I can cast to every other nest speaker or hub in the house with no issue, yet when I try to cast to this specific unit, it crashes.

I'm a little surprised by the notification settings, I was fairly certain the app used to offer website visit notifications also which is what I used to get audible notifications on my phone in the past, but I don't see that option anymore.

Thank you @Jnix284 - I've worked through this, and still no better.

'Website visits' doesn't sit as an option under desktop alerts (only email alerts).

I did manage to set up pop-up alerts for the 'website visits' list (prospects from Hubspot data enrichment). However, this doesn't work for us. I'm trying to set up an audible alerts as and when a contact owner contacts lands on site.

I'm using two different LM2674M-ADJ regulators to provide 12V and 3.3V respectively. I get a very audible wine from the 3.3V regulator that does not come from the 12V part. I've done comparisons between the two in an effort to understand why one is fine while the other is audibly noisy. Please be aware that both are using a 680 uH inductor from Bourns (SRR7045-681M). It has a SRF = 3 MHz which appears to easily be high enough for the 260 KHz switching frequency involved. I have had customer returns because the audible noise coming from the inductor on the 3.3V regulator is so bad (seems to get worse on some units over time). Inductor was made common to both to help reduce unique component count.

I am looking for a way to alarm folks when a specific piece of equipment faults. We prefer to use an audible alarm. Does anyone have some experience with this or any suggestions on what could be done using Perspective? We currently have iPads using the perspective app and a TV using perspective workstation in the vicinity. Open to other devices or methods that work as well.

Pallid bats (Antrozous pallidus) are another of Oregon's high desert bat species. They have a wide range, spanning from Canada to Mexico. While pallid bats typically produce inaudible, high-frequency echolocation calls, this behavior changes while rearing pups. When in the vicinity of summertime maternity roosts, pallid bats will lower the frequencies of their calls to within the range of human hearing.

To sign up to participate or just explore where audible bat surveys are being conducted, check out our web map. If you have any questions or would like to receive project updates, please contact Sara Rose to be added to our list of project partners.

What are APS? Audible pedestrian signals (APS) provides audible and/or vibrotactile information coinciding with visual pedestrian signals to let pedestrians who are blind know precisely when the WALK interval begins. This information is useful in analyzing an intersection and preparing to cross.

I have (or will be getting) a couple .wav audio signals of these rats speaking, and among general analysis of these wave forms, I also want to convert these ultrasonic signals (outside of our hearing), into the human audible range (20hz to 20khz).

1) Slow it Down: The least disruptive to the signal is simply to slow down the audio. If you are looking to have rat signals up to 100 kHz, you'll need to sample the audio at 200 kHz or greater. Once you have your recording, simply re-save the wav file telling it that the sample rate is 44.1 kHz (or whatever). This will play it more slowly, but all the frequencies will now be audible (unlike the single side band demodulation discussed below). This is definitely the place you should start...it's the easiest and will sound the best.

A new route guidance app for routine oversize and overweight permits is now available. The app features audible turn-by-turn technology, which will enable truck drivers to hear directions while keeping their attention on the road. ff782bc1db
