The PreMedical Student societies of AUB, LAU (Byblos and Beirut), and UOB are collaborating to answer the questions of the students concerning the application to the respective Medical Schools.

You can use your AUB IDs and PINs to access it on this link  (Under First Year Medicine). 

The deadline is January 15, 2021. 

A virtual presentation will be held on Thursday November 12, at 6.30 p.m. via Zoom, organized by AUB UNICEF Club in collaboration with the PreMedical Student Society and the Psychology Student Society. Psychologist Miss. Zainab Fadel will be speaking about Mental Health regarding students and children. She will be focusing on awakening the students’ minds to what is new about the real mental health; how to apply it in their practical life and the lives of the children they are dealing with. Also, she will be sharing her personal experience with her clients who dealt with mental health.

The PSS WEBSITE was launched to make the communication between members of the PreMedical Student Society and the Cabinet more accessible. All information on the website is verified, and aims to HELP you!

An orientation for PreMedical students in the Psychology major was organized by the Psychology Student Society in collaboration with us! Representatives from the PreMedical Student Society and Psychology students who are now Medical students gave a clearer picture of the PreMedical track for the attending students and answered all their questions. 

1- There will be no MCAT exams administered in Lebanon before March 2021. So you will not have to worry about registering for the MCAT on November 10.

2- The AUB Medical School is considering other alternatives to replace the MCAT exam as a criterion for admissions. We are expecting more details on this matter by next week, and we will immediately inform you of any updates.

This applies only to the 2021 admission cycle.

In the case where AUB implements a Pass/Fail option for the current Fall 2020 Semester, the Medical School will, for now, keep the percentage of allowed P/F credits (at the time of application) as announced in the Spring 2020 Semester. You can find this announcement here.

Student members interested to run for any of the positions have to submit the nomination form using the following online survey link.

• Junior Representative;

• Sophomore Representative.

The Deadline of Submission is on Monday, October 26 at 10:00am. 

A new decision specifies that AUB Medical School Admissions will accept up to 3 MCAT scores instead of 2, which was the case in previous years. This means that the first 3 scores of the first 3 sittings of the MCAT will be considered. Any additional sitting will not be considered. 

The Premedical Student Society invites you to its annual general orientation on Thursday, October 15, at 8:15 p.m. via Webex. 

This talk intends to give you a clearer picture of the premed path, by going over the required premed courses, the MCAT, transfer, volunteering opportunities, available scholarships and going abroad. 

Kindly join the meeting 10 minutes early using your AUB emails.

Voting for both Treasurer and Member at Large positions took place. The link was sent through Email to registered students. Yara Chamaa joined the cabinet as treasurer, and Jeffrey Yammine as Member at Large. 

All summer MCAT exams were cancelled in the summer of 2020, including exams in July, August and September.
