State Licensure

In 2017, a bill establishing state licensure for behavior analysts passed both the House and Senate. The Texas Department of Licensure & Regulation (TDLR) will be managing licensure for behavior analysts. As of September 1, 2018, all behavior analysts (BCBA, BCBA-D) and assistant behavior analysts (BCaBA) in Texas must be licensed by TDLR to continue to provide behavior analytic services in Texas. For more information about licensure, visit the TxABA Public Policy Group website and the TDLR website.
