1. SCOPE
This Privacy Policy explains how aTV RC ("aTV RC", "we", "us", or "our") handles information when you use the aTV RC Android application. aTV RC is an Apple TV remote-control application. It discovers compatible Apple TV devices on your local network and, after you choose a device and complete its pairing process, lets you control it. An optional screen-projection feature can stream your Android screen to the Apple TV you select.
This policy applies to the app itself. Apple, the Apple TV, Google Play, Android, your device manufacturer, your network provider, and apps or services displayed or used on your Apple TV may handle information under their own policies. We do not control those parties' practices.
2. INFORMATION THE APP ACCESSES AND PROCESSES
aTV RC does not provide user accounts. It does not ask for your name, email address, phone number, contacts, location, photos, files, microphone, camera, payment information, advertising ID, or installed-app list. It does not include advertising, analytics, crash-reporting, or social-media SDKs.
To provide its features, the app accesses and processes the following information.
Local-network and Apple TV device information
While searching for a compatible Apple TV on your local network, the app receives service-discovery information such as the Apple TV's advertised name, local IP address, port, service identifiers, capabilities, and device identifier. It uses this information solely to show available devices and connect to the device you choose.
Controller device information
When pairing or connecting, the app provides the selected Apple TV with a locally generated controller identifier and basic controller information, including your Android device name or model and a protocol software version. This enables the Apple TV to recognize and authenticate the remote controller.
Pairing and authentication information
You enter a pairing code displayed by the Apple TV. The code is used only to complete the pairing flow and is not retained after that flow. The resulting cryptographic pairing credentials and the preferred Apple TV identifier are stored on your device so that the app can reconnect without asking you to pair every time.
Remote-control, keyboard, and media information
The app sends the commands and text that you choose to send to the selected Apple TV. It receives the Apple TV's current playback state and related now-playing metadata, such as title, subtitle, app or player information, artwork, and playback position, to display controls and media notifications.
Screen-projection content (optional)
Only after you deliberately start screen projection and approve Android's system screen-capture prompt, the app captures your screen in real time and sends the live stream to the Apple TV you selected. Screen content can include anything visible on your screen at that time. The stream is used only for live playback. aTV RC does not save screen recordings to the device, upload them to us, or send them to analytics or advertising providers.
Operational information
The app uses Wi-Fi state and multicast networking to find and communicate with local Apple TV devices. If you enable notifications, Android may display an ongoing foreground-service notification while screen projection is active.
3. HOW INFORMATION IS USED
We use the information above only to operate the requested features: discover and present local Apple TV devices; establish and maintain a paired, authenticated connection; deliver your chosen remote, keyboard, playback, and projection actions; show playback status; and keep the screen-projection service active and visible while it runs.
We do not use this information for advertising, behavioural profiling, marketing, sale of data, or cross-app tracking. We do not operate a server that receives a copy of this information, and we do not use it to identify you.
4. WHERE INFORMATION GOES AND SHARING
aTV RC communicates directly over your local network with the Apple TV that you select. This is necessary for the app to work. The selected Apple TV receives controller details, pairing and authentication exchanges, remote commands, keyboard text, and, only when you initiate projection, the live screen stream. Information received from the Apple TV, such as device and now-playing information, is displayed or used locally by the app.
Other than this direct, user-initiated device-to-device communication, aTV RC does not sell, rent, share, or disclose your information to us, advertisers, analytics providers, data brokers, or other third parties. The app does not contain a developer-operated cloud service.
Android system services may process app data when they provide device backup, restore, security, or notification functions, subject to your Android settings and the applicable platform provider's policies. This is separate from any collection by aTV RC or its developer.
5. STORAGE, RETENTION, AND DELETION
Most information is processed in memory for the duration of the relevant connection or screen-projection session. Live screen-stream segments are held only temporarily in memory and are discarded when streaming stops.
The app retains locally stored pairing credentials, controller identifiers, and preferred-device information in the app's private Android storage until you remove the app's data or uninstall the app. The app has no account and no developer-held copy of this information. To delete this locally stored information, uninstall aTV RC or use Android Settings to clear aTV RC's storage. You may also remove the associated remote or pairing relationship from the Apple TV using Apple TV settings, where available.
If Android backup is enabled on your device, Android's backup service may retain a backup copy of app data according to its settings and retention practices. To remove such copies, use the backup-management options supplied by your Android device or account provider. We cannot delete data held only by your device platform or by your Apple TV.
6. SECURITY
aTV RC keeps persistent pairing information in Android app-private storage, which is protected by Android's application sandbox. Pairing and subsequent Apple TV control sessions use the authentication and encryption mechanisms provided by the applicable Apple TV Companion, Media Remote, and AirPlay protocols. Local network traffic can nevertheless be subject to risks inherent in any networked device or platform. Please keep your Android device, Apple TV, and network secure and use screen projection only with a TV you trust.
7. YOUR CHOICES
Screen projection is optional. It starts only after you choose the feature and grant Android's system-level screen-capture permission. You can decline, stop the stream, or revoke the permission through Android at any time. You can decline notifications, although the system may then limit the app's ability to present the required foreground-service notification during projection. You can stop using remote-control features and remove locally retained data as described in Section 5.
8. CHILDREN
aTV RC is not directed to children and is not designed to collect personal information from children. Because the app does not provide accounts or a developer-operated collection service, we do not knowingly collect children's personal information. If you believe a child has provided information to us directly, contact us using the address above.
9. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS AND CONTACT
Depending on where you live, privacy law may provide rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or information about personal data. aTV RC generally has no developer-held personal-data database. The practical way to delete the app's locally held information is to clear its storage or uninstall it. You may contact us with privacy questions or requests at jessecheng321@gmail.com. We may need enough information to understand and respond to your request.
10. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this policy when the app's data practices or applicable requirements change. We will publish the revised policy with a new effective date. If a future version adds data collection, sharing, accounts, or third-party SDKs, this policy and the app's Google Play Data safety disclosures will be updated before or when that version is made available.

控制器裝置資訊

配對及驗證資訊

運作資訊
本 App 使用 Wi-Fi 狀態及多點傳送網路功能來探索並與區域網路中的 Apple TV 通訊。若您啟用通知，螢幕投影運作時 Android 可能顯示持續性的前景服務通知。
3. 資訊使用方式
我們僅為提供您要求的功能而使用上述資訊：探索及顯示區域 Apple TV、建立並維持已配對及驗證的連線、執行您選擇的遙控、鍵盤、播放與投影操作、顯示播放狀態，以及在螢幕投影執行時維持服務運作與可見性。
我們不會將上述資訊用於廣告、行為側寫、行銷、出售資料或跨 App 追蹤；我們不營運接收此等資訊副本的伺服器，也不會用其辨識您的身分。
4. 資訊傳送對象與分享
aTV RC 會直接透過您的區域網路與您選擇的 Apple TV 通訊，這是本 App 運作所必需。選定 Apple TV 會接收控制器資訊、配對及驗證交換資料、遙控指令、鍵盤文字，以及僅在您啟動投影時的即時螢幕串流。本 App 從 Apple TV 收到的資訊，例如裝置與播放資訊，只會在本機顯示或使用。
除上述直接且由您啟動的裝置間通訊外，aTV RC 不會將資訊出售、出租、分享或揭露給我們、廣告商、分析服務商、資料經紀商或其他第三方。本 App 沒有由開發者營運的雲端服務。
Android 系統服務在提供裝置備份、還原、安全性或通知功能時，可能依您的 Android 設定及平台服務商的適用政策處理 App 資料；此類處理不同於 aTV RC 或其開發者所進行的蒐集。
5. 儲存、保存期間與刪除
大部分資訊只會在相關連線或螢幕投影工作階段期間於記憶體中處理。即時螢幕串流片段僅暫時保留在記憶體內，串流停止後即會捨棄。
本 App 會在 Android 的 App 私人儲存空間中保存配對憑證、控制器識別碼及慣用裝置資訊，直到您移除本 App 資料或解除安裝本 App 為止。本 App 沒有帳號，也沒有由開發者持有的此類資訊副本。如要刪除本機保存的資料，請解除安裝 aTV RC，或前往 Android 設定清除 aTV RC 的儲存空間。您也可以視 Apple TV 提供的功能，在 Apple TV 設定中移除相關遙控器或配對關係。
若您的裝置啟用 Android 備份，Android 備份服務可能依其設定與保存慣例保留 App 資料的備份副本。若要移除這些副本，請使用 Android 裝置或帳戶服務商提供的備份管理選項。我們無法刪除僅由您的裝置平台或 Apple TV 持有的資料。
6. 安全措施
aTV RC 會將持續使用的配對資訊保存在受 Android 應用程式沙箱保護的 App 私人儲存空間。配對及其後的 Apple TV 控制工作階段會使用適用 Apple TV Companion、Media Remote 及 AirPlay 通訊協定所提供的驗證與加密機制。然而，任何網路裝置或平台皆可能存在固有風險；請妥善保護您的 Android 裝置、Apple TV 與網路，並僅向您信任的電視使用螢幕投影。
7. 您的選擇
螢幕投影為選用功能，只有在您選擇該功能並授予 Android 系統層級的螢幕擷取權限後才會啟動；您可隨時拒絕、停止串流，或透過 Android 撤銷權限。您可拒絕通知，但系統可能因此限制 App 在投影期間顯示必要前景服務通知的能力。您也可停止使用遙控功能，並依第 5 節所述移除本機保存資料。
8. 兒童隱私
aTV RC 並非以兒童為對象，亦非設計用來蒐集兒童個人資訊。由於本 App 不提供帳號或由開發者營運的資料蒐集服務，我們不會明知而蒐集兒童個人資訊。若您認為兒童曾直接向我們提供資訊，請以本政策上列聯絡方式通知我們。
9. 您的隱私權利與聯絡方式
依您所在地的隱私法，您可能享有要求存取、更正、刪除、限制處理、反對處理或取得個人資料處理資訊等權利。aTV RC 一般沒有由開發者持有的個人資料庫；清除本機資訊的實際方式是清除 App 儲存空間或解除安裝 App。如有隱私問題或請求，請寄信至 jessecheng321@gmail.com。我們可能需要足以理解並回覆您請求的資訊。
10. 本政策的變更
若本 App 的資料處理作法或適用要求有變更，我們可能更新本政策，並公布附有新生效日期的版本。若未來版本新增資料蒐集、分享、帳號或第三方 SDK，我們會在該版本推出前或推出時更新本政策及其 Google Play 資料安全性揭露。
