Dr. Attila Károly Molnár was born in 1969 in Budapest. He obtained his first degree at Eötvös Loránd University Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology in 2014, majoring in andragogy. In 2016, he obtained a university degree in andragogy, also at ELTE PPK. Since 2006, he has been dealing with learning support for primary and secondary school-aged and adult students, and since 2016, he has been working as a learning methodology consultant. He obtained his doctoral degree in 2022 at ELTE PPK Doctoral School of Education within the Andragogy doctoral program. Driven by his commitment to the reintegration of prisoners living in prisons, he participates in several works supporting prison education related to his research topic, and regularly holds group sessions for adult prisoners. He conducts scientific research in Hungarian and foreign penitentiary institutions and universities to develop andragogic methods that support reintegration into society. His conference presentations, studies and book excerpts are published in Hungarian and English, he presents his research results at domestic and international conferences. Research area: adult education, within that, support for adult inmates' learning in prison. Based on my research results, I am convinced that andragogy has a prominent role in reintegration: if prisoners have access to better quality of education, they can be more successful in returning to society and the labor market.
