why cant i do this, if i want to quick switch to some other vessel like the launcher i want to maneuver while the upper stage is accelerating then i SHOULD, if i put my ships at risk thats my choice! i cant believe this excrements IS STILL HERE!

So, when the game doesn't let you switch, it's doing you a favor. If it let you switch away from your ship in atmosphere, your ship would be instantly destroyed, which is not what most players want. If it let you switch away from your ship while its engine is firing... its engine would instantly stop the moment you switch away, which is not what most players would want or expect. Or, indeed, even realize that it happened (which is why it makes you turn the engine off yourself before you switch-- that way at least you know what's going on).

In short: it seems pretty unlikely that this particular restriction is going to change, at least completely. (There might be room for minor fiddling around the edges-- e.g. it used to be that the "physics bubble" was only a couple of kilometers while in atmosphere, now they've expanded it to 20. But the basic limitation remains.) KSP is continuously solving some computationally difficult physics problems, and being completely faithful to real-world physics would be computationally impractical. So they have to cut some expedient corners in places.

If it let you switch away from your ship in atmosphere, your ship would be instantly destroyed, which is not what most players want. If it let you switch away from your ship while its engine is firing... its engine would instantly stop the moment you switch away, which is not what most players would want or expect.

Note: switch/haze.nro was updated in the release zip on 2023/04/18 at 10:15 PM PDT to fix an issue where haze would create files on the device 12 bytes larger than they should be. The updated zip has "-fix1" in its name.

Currently the game is meched such that if you are in-flight, you can't switch to a craft on the ground. I'm guessing this is to prevent accidents while you aren't paying attention. There are some mods that override this feature.

I had some issues with getting in range and in a stable flight pattern before the switch, but it became easier with practice. I saw a video recently where a guy put together a spacecraft in flight with modules with this method. Amazing work by that guy, wish I had the video to share.

To chainload atmosphere place the latest fusee.bin in /bootloader/payloads/

then edit your hekate_ipl.ini to contain the following,

I got it to open up and everything was good, but when I go to launch any of the options available it starts booting atmosphere showing logo and then another logo then it goes black and then it boots the regular nintendo switch

Hi all, So i noticed that when i was doing bdarmory dogfights i couldn't switch my vessels since they were in atmosphere. do you know how to fix this? Also, do you know how to change the render distance of other vessels?

Back up your saves (using the homebrews JKSV or Checkpoint) just in case of any potential issue. Delete the old romfs and exefs files (for Switch, this includes the ones in /atmosphere/exefs_patches/Luminescent). Follow the install instructions again with the new files.

If you have followed all of these instructions and the game still doesn't boot, please use a homebrew file reader such as NX-Shell and navigate to atmosphere/contents/0100000011D90000 and check that romfs and exefs (and the folders within) are displaying as folders as intended.

-->I started with atmosphere 0.8.3 that I normally tap on album icon to open my hbmenu and tap on games to open games.

When I updated to 0.8.5, I open my album to see my own gallery of pics like in OFW. I read thru change logs on the github.

I had to press R to open hbmenu from my album. I open games to see hbmenu. I would have to press R to open one of games to game.

I decided to make it abit easier by editng my loader.ini I added ! before R in this line override_key=Rmaking this line to be override_key=!R next thing, when I open one of my games, it go to hbmenu. I figured out that it will help me to get full RAM for retroarch or other homebrew apps. I decided to leave it to true because I run retroarch. I know some people do not need full RAM. if you do not need full RAM, you can change this line override_any_app=true to override_any_app=falseso you do not have to hold R when opening your game. in Atmosphere 0.10.0 or above, I do not have to do custom setting anymore becauseI am happy with their new changes now. I just tap on album to go to hbmenu and hold R on games for full RAM. in Atmosphere 0.10.0 or above, They change where they do configs now. the configs are in /atmosphere/config now. it is only BCT.ini in the default atmosphere package. There are the config templates in /atmosphere/config_templates I prefer the default settings now.

Disabling CheatsAtomsphere come with cheat engine enabled on default settings. I saw that many people have issues with games or want cheats disabled. Open system_settings.ini in config_templates folder in the atmosphere folder (/atmosphere/config_templates) and find this line dmnt_cheats_enabled_by_default = u8!0x1change this line to dmnt_cheats_enabled_by_default = u8!0x0you need to copy system_settings.ini to the config folder in the atmosphere folder (/atmosphere/config)If you want to cheat. you have to leave it as u8!0x1 More info on cheating here: My Cheating Tutorial

Custom Boot ScreensI read thru gbatemp and found out that people are able to make custom boot splash screen. very cool! The custom boot splash screen have to be 1280 x 720 and rotated 90 counterwise. It can be done easily in photoshop and saved as a bmp in 32bit. More of the splash screens and more of my made ones too.

Atmosphere SplashesI add this line to BCT.ini in /atmosphere/config on my sd card. then I put bootlogo.bmp in the atomosphere folder.[stage2]custom_splash = atmosphere/bootlogo.bmpHere is my custom boot splash screen Direct download of My favorite boot screen (Mario with middle fingers out)My own BCT.ini hereBCT0[stage1]stage2_path = atmosphere/fusee-secondary.binstage2_addr = 0xF0000000stage2_entrypoint = 0xF0000000[stage2]custom_splash = atmosphere/bootlogo.bmp[exosphere]; Note: Disabling debugmode will cause parts of ams.tma to not work, in the future.debugmode = 1 debugmode_user = 0[stratosphere]nogc = 0; To force-enable nogc, add nogc = 1; To force-disable nogc, add nogc = 0After 9.0.0 update: I have issues reading my game carts. after talking with ReSwitched Team. in the stratosphere section. Many applications in Solar physics need a 1D atmospheric model as initial condition or as reference for inversions of observational data. The VAL atmospheric models are based on observations and are widely used since decades. Complementary to that, the FAL models implement radiative hydrodynamics and showed the shortcomings of the VAL models since almost equally long time. In this work, we present a new 1D layered atmosphere that spans not only from the photosphere to the transition region, but from the solar interior up to far in the corona. We also discuss typical mistakes that are done when switching on simulations based on such an initial condition and show how the initial condition can be equilibrated so that a simulation can start smoothly. The 1D atmosphere we present here served well as initial condition for HD and MHD simulations and should also be considered as reference data for solving inverse problems.

Trials on broccoli, sweet corn, green beans and iceberg lettuce were conducted using modified atmosphere packaging (MAP) liners and CA conditions inside containers with the aim of extending storage life.

This review paper considers direct injection of industrial CO2 emissions into the mid-water oceanic column below 500 m depth. Such a process is a potential candidate for switching atmospheric carbon emissions directly to long term sequestration, thereby relieving the intermediate atmospheric burden. Given sufficient research justification, the argument is that harmful impact in both the Atmosphere and the biologically rich upper marine layer could be reduced. The paper aims to estimate the role that active intervention, through direct ocean CO2 storage, could play and to outline further research and assessment for the strategy to be a viable option for climate change mitigation. The attractiveness of direct ocean injection lies in its bypassing of the Atmosphere and upper marine region, its relative permanence, its practicability using existing technologies and its quantification. The difficulties relate to the uncertainty of some fundamental scientific issues, such as plume dynamics, lowered pH of the exposed waters and associated ecological impact, the significant energy penalty associated with the necessary engineering plant and the uncertain costs. Moreover, there are considerable uncertainties regarding related international marine law. Development of the process would require acceptance of the evidence for climate change, strict requirements for large industrial consumers of fossil fuel to reduce CO2 emissions into the Atmosphere and scientific evidence for the overall beneficial impact of ocean sequestration. e24fc04721
