This storm was the EARLIEST CATEGORY 5 MAJOR HURRICANE STORM ON RECORD. It caused the largest tornado outbreak in the 2024 Atlantic Hurricane Season, prompting 201 Tornado Warnings and 68 Tornadoes. This storm made landfall in Texas as a Category 1 Hurricane.
