AICTE is committed for development of quality technical education in the country by initiating various schemes launched by Govt. of India, MHRD Council understand that there is a need of the day to train the young generation in skill sector and having faculty & technicians to be trained in their respective disciplines. It was felt that Training with latest tools and technologies is vital to keeping an institute competitive and more productive. Training is required for increasing the knowledge and skills of students to make them more employable to acquire global competencies. It also transforms them to harmonize with society and most importantly to make them a good citizen of the country. Accordingly, it was decided to the opening of AICTE Training And- Learning - (ATAL) Academies.
As a part of its activities, AICTE Training and Learning (ATAL) Academy Guwahati will conduct its programme from 16 to 20 September, 2019 at Central University of Jharkhand, Ranchi.
AIM and Scope:
This Workshop aims to stimulate the intensity and need of Cyber Security among the teachers, research scholar from different parts of the country. The motivation to promote Computer Security, Cryptography, Digital Money, Secure Protocols and Security Techniques. This Workshop is designed to give a Techniques and hand on Experience on IT Systems Security & Infrastructure, Monitoring Potential Threats and Attacks and implementing Security solutions.

About Central University of Jharkhand
The Central University of Jharkhand was established through the Central University Act, 2009. The University started with a vision to specially focus on relevant present age educational drives offering 5-year integrated (UG/PG), Post graduate and Ph.D. programmes in almost all its Schools/ Departments of studies. The University is running in a Lush green temporary campus located in a natural landscape of Ranchi.
About the Department of Computer Science and Technology
The Department of Computer Science and Technology has been started in 2018 under the school of Natural Sciences. Initially, only PG Diploma in Cyber Security with the intake of 28 students; and Ph. D. program has been offered. The department is going to offers M. Tech (Computer Science and Technology) program from upcoming session2019/2020. It is the department's ambition to be internationally recognized as a leader in computer science and technology, a department with coherent activities within research, education, development and industry cooperation.
