Indian Institute of Information Technology, Kota (IlIT Kota) is an Institute of National Importance. IIIT Kota is a joint venture of the MHRD, Govt. of India, and Govt. of Rajasthan with Industry Partners in Public Private-Partnership (PPP) mode. Currently the institute is mentored by MNIT Jaipur. The institute is governed by the eminent personalities of the Government, Industry and Academia. Currently we offer B.Tech, M.Tech and PhD in the discipline of Computer Science & Engineering and Electronics & communication engineering. IIIT Kota has the qualified faculty members with various specialisations such as Robotics, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Optical Communication, Soft Computing, RF and Microwave, Fuzzy Logic, Neural Networks.
The objectives of AICTE Training and Learning (ATAL) Academy are: To set up an Academy which will plan and help in imparting quality technical education in the country and to support technical institutions in fostering research, innovation and entrepreneurship through training. To provide a variety of opportunities for training and exchange of experiences, such as workshops, short term courses, orientations, learning communities, peer mentoring and faculty development programmes. To support policy makers for incorporating training as per requirements.
This FDP aims to explain the basic principles behind Explainable artificial intelligence. In addition, the aim is to impart the knowledge, concept and techniques in the most simple way. The faculty should know how to import, export and transform the existing dataset in order to properly process and use it for several artificial intelligence applications. In this FDP, the faculties will be given the practical knowledge about the artificial intelligence and machine learning on deep learning frameworks such as keras. At the same time, knowing the explanations and reasoning on the predictions of the artificial intelligence systems, the future of the artificial intelligence is becoming the explainable artificial intelligence (XAI) due to its applications for the industry, policy making for higher government officials etc. The XAI provides better opportunities to better understand the Al solutions, and in turn also provide methods to improve the model. This FDP will provide exposure to this unexplored field of Al to the faculties.
