Meaghan is an art educator with over a decade of teaching experience. She is an interdisciplinary artist who gets very enthusiastic about having fun, food, performance art, dance, technology and intersectional politics. She currently teaches middle school art and high school theatre tech. When not at work she can be found in bed with her 14 year old chihuahua watching tiktoks.

The Queer Art of Activism
This workshop explores a brief history of Queer Art and some rationale behind including Queer Art and queer perspectives in the classroom. There will be two art making activities, time for creating new lesson plans, group discussions and other resources provided.
