Jeff Wilson

Artist Bio

Jeff Wilson is a Cape Breton artist and visual art teacher whose work encompasses various mediums, including painting, illustration, murals, animation, and ink. Jeff is currently working on a variety of projects, and is also the host of 'Sketchbook Socials', a weekly public art-making event.

Workshop Description

Comic Book Workshop

This four hour workshop provides art teachers with tools and techniques to teach their students how to create a comic book of various lengths and themes. Participants will be guided through the process of creating an illustrated story, including: brainstorming ideas, story structure & story pacing, panel composition, use of different mediums, and other techniques that can be used to creatively develop a complete story.
