Unlike how it seems to be in the series, vampire bites in my AU do not cause immediate vampirism. The blood has to be completely removed by a vampire for the person to turn.
I still use the concept of virgins becoming vampires and non-virgins becoming ghouls, even though I roll my eyes at it.
Virginity is a concept I mess with in this AU, it is not a solid state.
There are other true vampire bloodlines and other supernatural entities other then vampires. Funky curses and eldritch powers also exist here!
I completely removed Schrödinger from my AU.
The removal of Schrödinger means that a lot of things changed for Alucard, as listed here:
What Millennium infected Alucard's blood with is instead some type of mind altering vampire poison. This poison has similar effects to what Schrödinger did, but not as powerful — and it doesn't involve omnipresence.
Alucard was only gone in his weird subspace for 15-20 years and lost a little more then half the souls he had.
Everything for Anderson to his death is all normal here, but it is after death where I have altered things:
Due to me wanting to keep him involved in the canon, he is stuck to Atom's soul as a form of punishment for choosing immortality.
Personal details will be discussed vaguely in fanfics or comics.
The reason why his soul has piggybacked on Atom's is not fully known but Atom is a reincarnation of him of sorts. They have similar abilities, including that one weird one where they seem to be able to summon blades (Atom's is holy daggers and short swords rather than bayonets).
More will be explained on Atom's page about them two.
