Currently, I am working as a post-doctoral fellow in the Department of Applied Mechanics, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi. My current areas of research include smoothed particle hydrodynamics (SPH), element-free Galerkin method, differential and inverse differential quadrature methods etc.
I am a Ph. D. graduate from Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala – 695547, India). My doctoral research involves development of novel stochastic meshless methods for linear and nonlinear problems in structural mechanics. I continued as a research associate (RA) at IIST after completing my Ph. D. There, I developed stochastic techniques for structural dynamics problems using meshless method.
During my RAship at Department of Aerospace Engineering, IIST Thiruvananthapuram, I assisted the faculty members in teaching Structural Dynamics course to PG students and conducting Strength of Materials (SoM) Lab to UG students.
During my Ph.D., I assisted the faculty members of Aerospace Engineering Department, IIST, in teaching courses like Finite element method, and Advanced Mechanics of Solids. I introduced Meshless Methods and their applications to UG, PG, and Ph.D. students. This I continued in my RA period as well.
Before joining IIST as a Ph.D. scholar, I worked as an Assistant Professor (Ad-hoc), in the Department of Civil Engineering, Government College of Engineering Kannur.
I am currently looking for faculty/postdoctoral positions in India/Abroad.
