Hi guys, yesterday i update my bios from 4602 to 4802, everything was fine, but today, when i start my pc, windows was freeze, i can use only CTRL-ALT-DEL, and reboot it, i never had this issue till now.

I immediately noticed that my CPU, R7 5700X, no longer reaches 4850 but stops at 4784... Furthermore, in idle it is no longer at 3400, but at 3551 as the lowest frequency. Has anything changed in frequency management? Has anyone updated? How is it with the new bios version?

with same BIOS 5003, i have a similiar issue with a X570-E, base speed is now 3800/3900 MHz and CPU idle at 64 (53 on the LED motherboad). I'm using 5900X, artic freezer II 360 (6 fans P12 PWM push-pull). i tried with BIOS 4802 and again some issues. With older bios 4602, not issues, CPU a 38/40 idle

Do exactly as DuckFerno says. The only connections you should have on the board should be the 24 and 8 pin connections. You can update the bios with the board outside the case (I didn't because my cables were all tied down and I didn't want to mess with them).

I have very similar specs as you and happened across the exact same issue though I have been using the card since release. I tried a few things and was able to narrow it down to CSM being enabled in the motherboard bios. I had it enabled and intel arc used to work fine with it until today. Disabling the setting allowed it to boot just fine. It is in the intel arc requirements to have it disabled as well which makes sense though I am not sure if that is a recent thing or not. Hopefully this helps out. I had to reset my bios settings to default to narrow it down. e24fc04721
