I use Ver006 Risers. The problem the driver. In the HiveOS is contain old driver to Nvidia. Under Windows the mining is working correctly, but I see other people use 1660 Super under Hiveos. (In Statistics). Have anyone a good configuration or version from HiveOS which is compatible with 1660 Super?

I use HiveOS with more 8xRX580 Rig without problem. I only have a problem with NVidia Rig. This card is new. The latest HiveOS contain the 430.64 Nvidia driver. This is not compatible with 1660Super. The minimum version for this card is: 440.31. I tried to use the Beta HiveOS, this is contain the newer driver for Nvidia.

Hi I recently built a Windows 10 desktop with Asus tuf x570 plus mobo, Ryzen 5 3600 and bought an Asus Phoenix GeForce GTX 1660 super for it but NVIDIA won't let me install drivers for it saying they either they can't run on my version of windows or it can't detect compatible hardware but GPU must be doing something as I get good picture on the screen! I am new to PC building and have looked at heaps of internet articles and videos and have tried a few but am worried I'll stuff something. I know this is an old problem and am hoping it is a simple fix I'm just not seeing any help would be great.

The GeForce 16 series is based on the same Turing architecture used in the GeForce 20 series, omitting the Tensor (AI) and RT (ray tracing) cores exclusive to the 20 series. The 16 series does, however, retain the dedicated integer cores used for concurrent execution of integer and floating point operations.[6] On March 18, 2019, Nvidia announced that via a driver update in April 2019 they would enable DirectX Raytracing on 16 series cards starting with GTX 1660, together with certain cards in the 10 series, a feature reserved to the RTX series up to that point.[7]

So what's new on the GTX 1660 Super? Not a lot, to be honest but the original GTX 1660 was pretty good already. Let's review it spec by spec: we get the exact same GPU as the non-super, base model GTX 1660. It has the same 22 SM units / 1408 CUDA cores which are clocked at 1530 MHz with the same GPU boost clock of 1785 MHz, it carries the same 88 texture units resulting in the same texel fill rate.

We've seen this in a few games and with Project Cars 2 we have yet another example where the extra memory bandwidth leads to no performance uplift, just an extra frame for the 1660 Super over the non-super version. e24fc04721
