About the Lab
About the Lab
Our research focuses on human neuromuscular control, physical human-robot interaction, and robot-aided neurorehabilitation.
The main goals of our research are to:
identify mechanisms underlying human neuromuscular control and biomechanics;
innovate physical human-robot interaction by incorporating key principles in human motor control into robotics;
advance assistive robotics and robot-aided rehabilitation.
This research draws upon diverse disciplines, including system dynamics and controls, robotics, mechanical design, biomechanics, and neuroscience. The lab is under the direction of Dr. Hyunglae Lee, and is part of the School for Engineering of Matter, Transport and Energy (SEMTE) at ASU.
