Astrid Ruland
Research Economist at De Nederlandsche Bank
I am a Research Economist at De Nederlandsche Bank, specialised in labour economics.
I obtained my PhD from the European University Institute (EUI) in Florence under the supervision of Edouard Challe and Thomas Crossley.
During my PhD I visited New York University and the European Central Bank.
My research interests include: Macro-labour, search and matching, theory and applied.
I study the interaction between labour market policies and aggregate uncertainty, large macroeconomic events or market frictions. In addition, I analyse the effect of these interactions on labour market outcomes both for the aggregate and for individual groups.
