Astonishing Truth Ministries founder Joe M. Turner has spent most of his life studying these important things:

• How to entertain people in a wholesome manner, especially through the use of illusion and sleight-of-hand

• How to educate and edify people, helping them to grasp, comprehend, and internalize important messages in an exciting way

• How to encourage people to know Jesus Christ, to understand what He did for us, and to use their lives and gifts to glorify God

• Upward and VBS Celebrations – Fun and truth at important ministry events for kids and families, from Vacation Bible School to end-of-year banquets and other events.

• Student Gatherings – A great addition to youth services, rallies, and other events. (Ask about Joe's presentations on cult awareness.)

• Banquets and Retreats – Entetainment for classes, choirs, or communities. A big hit for deacon banquets, choir banquets, men's and women's ministry events, Sunday School or small group parties!

• Educational and Leadership Conferences – Entertainment, teaching, and speaking for kids, students, and adults.

Joe has presented Christian illusion entertainment programs at churches all over America, Canada, Latvia, and at educational conferences at home and abroad, such as the SHARE Conference in Hungary.

• Some programs are designed for Upward celebrations as well as other children’s events such as VBS, fairs, picnics, or events for Awanas, R.A.s, G.A.s and children’s choir events.

• Some programs are educational presentations on cult awareness geared to middle-school and/or senior-high youth. These young people — who are most at risk from confusing messages and competing worldviews — can benefit greatly from early training in basic apologetics.

• Some programs take the form of entertainment at luncheons, banquets or other fellowship or celebration functions for adults.

Joe can customize programs to fit the themes and messages you are trying hardest to deliver.

One thing that all these programs share is this: every time you see Joe perform you are guaranteed to experience the thrill of the art of illusion and, more importantly, to learn something about Jesus Christ in the process.

Planning and managing ministry programs is an awesome and challenging responsibility. Joe considers it a privilege to be led by God in providing assistance to you for your event as a Christian entertainer.

Joe can provide some basic audio equipment if needed to supplement what you have on site. His technical needs are modest, and he can nearly always work effectively within the constraints of your environment.
