North Texas Business Section of AAFCS-TX Affiliate

Family & Consumer Sciences professionals in the greater North Texas area are welcome to join the local chapter. Membership dues are $25.00 a year. Members meet on the third Thursday of the month September through May to enjoy lunch and a short program. Lunch is $20.00. April 2024 members enjoyed visiting and learning about the Wellman Project in Forth Worth. The nonprofit serves as a free resource for teachers, distributing surplus materials from local companies for creative reuse in the classroom and beyond.

March 2024 members enjoyed learning from Kathryn Bryan, CFCS fashion tips about what colors and accessories to wear.

North Texas Business Section Members attend the 2024 AAFCS-TX Conference in Denton Feb. 2024. Frances Hare, Carol Canada and Kim Kamin graciously acted as hostess for the conference. 

Connie Yates hosted the August 2023 Planning Retreat in her home. Members enjoyed a potluck salad lunch.
