Advocacy Academy for FCS Professionals
This academy will help FCS professionals prepare to advocate for FCS as a field that helps people develop the essential knowledge and skills to lead better lives, be workforce ready, build strong families, and make meaningful contributions to our communities.

Training Goals:
To teach FCS advocates practical and powerful tips on how to be a respected, effective and supported voice in their community;
To help FCS advocates understand stakeholder dynamics and build constructive relationships with decision-makers;
To empower FCS advocates with skills to tell their FCS story and secure stronger support for the impact FCS can have on individuals, families and communities;
To provide consistent messaging and an advocacy framework that can be used by FCS professionals throughout this state, and ultimately, as a model across the country;
To provide a mechanism for engaging a broad range of advocates across the FCS network.
