Overview

This program is an executable (.exe) program that can run on Windows and Chromebook computers. The AssistTranslate helps you to speed up and expand your knowledge about a word or a phrase. It has the capability to work in different languages and different web-based dictionaries or encyclopedia sites. Our translator can find the correct spelling of your desired phrase in English or other languages.

➤ How it works

AssistTranslate is an automated program that works by pressing some keys on your keyboard and does some tasks. For example, when you have selected a phrase, hold down Ctrl and press ~ key, then your phrase will be searched in different online dictionaries or encyclopedia websites. In fact, it copies and pastes your phrase to the search section of those sites.

➤ Go beyond a translator 

AssistTranslate goes far beyond just assisting you for translating a phrase. It can find the correct spelling of a phrase in different languages and lets you paste it into your document. In fact, it uses Google Translate for finding the correct spelling of your phrase and copies it to the clipboard of your computer. Therefore, you can easily paste it anywhere you like.

➤ Who can use AssistTranslate?

For all users, the AssistTranslate v1.0 is available on the Chrome Web Store. You just need to download it on your computer and run the related exe files. 

➤ What’s included?

The v1.0.0.0 of AssistTranslate includes common searching websites such as Wikipedia, Google Translate, Google, and the capability to add other online dictionaries or encyclopedias, for example,  Oxford dictionary or Britannica encyclopedia and more.  The v1.0.0.0 of Assistant Translator includes the following features:

➤ Where can you use AssistTranslate?

AssistTranslate is designed to work independently outside your web browser. It is capable to work first when internet is available to you. Second, there is a clipboard manager to cut, copy, and paste operations. Because Windows, Linux and macOS support a single clipboard transaction, so the phrases in all those applications can be served by AssistTranslate.  For example, AssistTranslate can work in the following programs:

• Microsoft Office

• Notepad or Notepad++

• All integrated development environment (IDE) e.g. Visual Studio Apps

• Internet browsers, e.g. Google Chrome, Firefox, and MS Edge.
