This Privacy Policy describes how Assignment Tracker ("we," "our," or "the App") handles information when you use our mobile application on Android and other supported platforms.
We are committed to protecting your privacy. Assignment Tracker is designed as an offline student productivity tool. We do not operate servers that store your personal data, and we do not require you to create an account.
We do not collect personal information.
Assignment Tracker does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data with us or any third party. The App does not use analytics services, advertising networks, crash reporting tools that identify users, or cloud synchronization.
Any information you choose to enter into the App—such as assignment titles, subject names, descriptions, due dates, priority levels, estimated hours, and completion records—is stored locally on your device only using on-device storage (AsyncStorage).
Because we do not collect your data, we do not use it for marketing, profiling, or any other purpose outside your device.
Data you enter is used solely within the App to:
Display and manage your assignments
Track deadlines, completion status, and productivity statistics
Provide features such as streaks, achievements, and subject summaries
All App data remains on your device. We do not upload, back up, or sync your assignments to external servers.
Data security depends on the security of your device. We recommend using a screen lock, keeping your operating system updated, and not sharing your device with untrusted parties if your assignments contain sensitive information.
We do not share, sell, rent, or disclose your information to third parties because we do not collect it.
The App does not include social features, public profiles, or user-to-user sharing.
Assignment Tracker does not integrate third-party services that access your assignment data. The App is intended to work fully offline and does not require an internet connection for core functionality.
Your device's app store (such as Google Play) may collect information related to app downloads and updates according to its own privacy policy. That collection is governed by the store provider, not by us.
Assignment Tracker is a general student productivity application suitable for school, college, and university users. The App does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.
Because all data stays on the device and is never transmitted to us, parents and guardians can control App data by managing device access or uninstalling the App.
You have full control over your data. You may:
Edit or delete individual assignments within the App
Clear completed assignments using in-app options
Remove all App data by uninstalling Assignment Tracker from your device
Because we do not store your data on our servers, we cannot retrieve or delete data on your behalf. Uninstalling the App permanently removes locally stored data from your device.
Assignment Tracker requests only the permissions necessary for the App to function on your device. The App does not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, location, or similar sensitive permissions for its core features.
Because your data is stored only on your device and is not transferred to us, no cross-border data transfer by the App occurs.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
