The Ayer-Shirley PTO is a parent-teacher organization serving the Lura A. White Elementary School in Ayer and Shirley, MA. Our mission is to support our students and staff by organizing family-friendly events and activities while raising funds to help cover the costs of special assemblies, school trips, and after-school enrichment programs.
Our Family dance is BACK!
LAW Students and their family members are invited to join us for a free night of dancing fun on Friday, January 30 from 6-8.
Pre-registration is required for entry. Due to capacity issues in the past, we have to cap this dance at a certain number, so you are required to have a free "ticket". IMPORTANT: Non LAW siblings are invited, however they MUST be Elementary school aged or Younger. NO Middle School or High School aged siblings will be allowed entrance. This is an elementary school dance.
Snacks and dessert will be sold for $1 each-Cash ONLY. Water is available at the water fountains or in the cafeteria vending machine
Please make sure to sign up for the correct quantity of people who will be attending the dance from your family, as we do have a capacity and only the amount of people you sign up for will be allowed into the dance.

Teach Holiday Wish Lists are Back!
This year, the LAW PTO is helping families who may want to show their appreciation to teachers during the holiday season. We’ve asked teachers to share a few ideas of items they enjoy or may need for their classrooms. These “Holiday Wish Lists” are simply meant to be helpful suggestions for anyone who is interested — participation is completely optional.
Each teacher’s list may include favorite treats, small items that support learning in the classroom, or a link to an existing wish list. We hope this makes it easier for families who would like some guidance when choosing a thoughtful gift.
Thank you for your continued support and for helping make our school community such a special place.

The ASPTO will be sponsoring our third annual Holiday Extravaganza on Wednesday, December 10th from 6-8pm.
Come experience holiday traditions from around the world with crafts, games, Santa photos and holiday cookies.
This is a free event for LAW students and their families.
