SAT, College, & Life Prep from the University of Houston
Our objective is to help our students aspire higher by improving their SAT scores and preparing them for the transition from high school to post-secondary pathways.
We offer one-on-one SAT tutoring and a college/life prep curriculum that includes job interview skills, scholarship searching, and peer-reviewing college essays.
WHO ARE WE?
Aspire is a student-led service-learning program within the University of Houston Honors College, dedicated to combatting socioeconomic inequality within our community. Our project works to close the education achievement gap for students at under-resourced high schools by providing SAT, college, and life prep for juniors and seniors.
Our mission is to help our students attain expertise and SAT scores that will help them win scholarship awards, get into their desired colleges, and succeed in the professional world. Through close and personalized mentorship, we lessen the knowledge gap surrounding the SAT, college applications, and life skills, empowering our students to overcome the socioeconomic barriers they face and encouraging them to aspire to achieve their dreams.
