Gobstein (PI, APLU) is co-director of the Alliance with Robert Mathieu. As co-director, Mathieu and Gobstein are responsible for the coherence, success and growth of the Alliance, and coordinating management, budgetary and reporting requirements.

Christine Pribbenow is a Senior Scientist and Director of the LEAD Center at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. She and her team lead the external evaluation of the Alliance, liaise with the Backbone for data collection and IRB, conduct evaluation through data collection and analysis, and report results to the project PIs and the NSF.
