Exhibition 'ART IN GOLD'

The exhibition "ART IN GOLD. Jewelry in the Hellenistic Period" at the Benaki Museum,

focuses on the methods of manufacturing exceptional pieces of ancient goldsmithing art.

The exhibits are supported by five animated videos created by the animators Lukas Winter and Aspasia Kazeli,
in collaboration with Kosar Momeni.

The videos were created with the use of 3D computer graphics, 2D frame by frame and motion graphic animation.

Each of the films explains one of five different techniques of Hellenistic jewelry making, following information and instructions given by the main directors of the exhibition,
Irini Papageorgiou (archaeologist) and Akis Goumas (goldsmith).
