The Advanced Semiconductor Materials and Devices Laboratory (ASMDL) at Gachon University investigates next-generation energy and electronic devices based on advanced semiconductor materials.

The major research interests of ASMDL include the development of novel semiconductor materials and devices for electronic and energy-conversion applications such as transistors, photodetectors, thermoelectrics, and solar cells. Our group also investigates fundamental properties of semiconductor materials, especially optical and electrical properties, and their dependence on nano- and micro-structures of the thin films.
