Welcome to the webpage of the Advanced Separation Materials Lab (ASML) in the School of Energy Materials & Chemical Engineering at Kyungpook National University (KNU). The vision of the ASML is to find and understand nature on the nanoscale to improve the quality of human life, save energy, and protect the environment for this and the next generations. To pursue this, we work on investigating advanced organic, inorganic, and hybrid nanomaterials and their membrane fabrication methodologies for diverse separations including gas, vapor, ion, and water. The ASML is looking for enthusiastic researchers (post-doc, graduate, and undergraduate students) interested in porous nanomaterials such as metal-organic frameworks, polymers, organic/inorganic composite materials, membranes, adsorption, diffusion, separation, and purification.
