Privacy Policy for Live Air Traffic Radar
**Effective date:** July 26, 2026
**Last updated:** July 26, 2026
NEXTAPPS.TECH (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the **Live Air Traffic Radar** Android application (package name: `com.liveairtraffic.app`). This Privacy Policy explains what information the app accesses or collects, why it is used, how it may be shared, and the choices available to you.
By using Live Air Traffic Radar, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
## 1. Information We Access or Collect
### Location information
If you choose to use the “locate me” feature and grant Android location permission, the app accesses your device’s approximate or precise location to center the radar map and load relevant nearby air-traffic information.
Location is accessed only while you are using the app. The app does not request background location permission and does not use location for advertising. Your current coordinates and/or a map area derived from them may be transmitted to our backend when the app requests traffic for the visible area. We do not sell your location information.
You may deny or revoke location permission at any time in Android Settings. The app’s other features remain available, although location-based map centering may not work.
### App activity and analytics
The app uses Google Firebase Analytics to understand app usage and improve the service. Analytics information may include:
- App opens and interactions;
- Device and app information, such as device type, operating-system version, app version, language, and device region;
- Approximate geographic region inferred from network information; and
- Firebase-generated identifiers and diagnostic or performance-related information.
### Crash and diagnostic information
Release versions of the app use Google Firebase Crashlytics. If the app crashes or experiences a serious error, Crashlytics may collect crash stack traces, diagnostic logs, app and device information, operating-system details, and Firebase or Crashlytics installation identifiers. We use this information to diagnose errors, maintain security, and improve reliability.
### Advertising information
The production version of the app may use the **Google Mobile Ads SDK (Google AdMob)** to display advertisements. Google and its advertising partners may automatically collect or receive:
- Your device’s IP address, which may be used to estimate general location;
- Advertising and device identifiers, such as the Android advertising ID and app set ID;
- App and ad interactions, including app launches, ad impressions, taps, and video views;
- Device, app, browser, and operating-system information;
- Diagnostic and performance information, such as app launch time, hang rate, and energy usage; and
- Consent choices and other privacy signals.
Depending on your location, age treatment, consent choices, and device settings, ads may be personalized or non-personalized. Personalized ads may use current or historical activity, inferred interests, general location, or demographic information to select ads. Non-personalized ads are based primarily on contextual information, but may still use identifiers or local storage for purposes such as frequency capping, aggregated reporting, security, and fraud prevention.
Google and participating advertising partners may combine or process advertising data in accordance with their own privacy policies. We do not receive your name, email address, or other direct contact details from the Google Mobile Ads SDK merely because an ad is displayed.
Where required by law, the app will ask for consent before requesting ads or enabling personalized advertising. You may be able to review or change your advertising privacy choices from the app’s privacy settings or consent-options screen. You can also reset or delete your Android advertising ID and manage ad privacy settings through your device’s Android or Google settings.
### Search, flight, airport, and AI-feature inputs
When you search for an airport, flight, route, or aircraft, or submit a question to an AI-powered feature, the text or identifier you enter is sent to our backend so we can provide the requested result. These inputs may include flight numbers, airport names or codes, aircraft registration numbers, routes, or free-form aviation questions.
Please do not include personal, confidential, or sensitive information in searches or AI questions. AI-generated information may be inaccurate and should not be relied upon for safety-critical, operational, legal, or emergency decisions.
### Network and security information
When the app communicates with our servers, standard network information may be processed automatically, including IP address, request time, requested endpoint, response status, and technical headers. We use this information to deliver the service, prevent abuse, enforce usage limits, troubleshoot problems, and protect our systems. For some AI features, an IP address or app-provided identifier may be cryptographically hashed and used for usage limits.
### Information stored on your device
The app may store limited settings, cached data, or technical values locally on your device, including through secure device storage, to operate features and improve performance. You can generally remove this local information by clearing the app’s storage or uninstalling the app.
### Information we do not intentionally collect
The current version of the app does not provide user accounts and does not intentionally collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, photos, microphone recordings, or payment information. The production advertising SDK may collect advertising and device identifiers as described in the “Advertising information” section.
If you contact us by email, we will receive your email address and any information you choose to include in your message.
## 2. How We Use Information
We use information described in this policy to:
- Provide live flight, airport, weather, map, search, photo, and related aviation features;
- Center the map and display relevant nearby air traffic when you request location access;
- Answer questions and provide AI-assisted aviation information;
- Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the app and backend;
- Measure app usage and understand general audience regions;
- Display, measure, limit the frequency of, and improve advertisements;
- Personalize advertisements where permitted and where valid consent has been obtained;
- Detect crashes, fix bugs, and monitor reliability;
- Prevent fraud, misuse, and excessive automated requests;
- Comply with applicable law and enforce our rights; and
- Respond when you contact us.
## 3. When Information Is Shared
We do not sell your personal information.
We may disclose or process information through service providers that help us operate the app, including:
- **Google Firebase**, for analytics and crash reporting;
- **Google AdMob and participating advertising partners**, for displaying, selecting, measuring, securing, and reporting advertisements;
- Cloud-hosting, database, caching, security, and network providers used to run our backend;
- Aviation-data, airport-data, aircraft-photo, weather, mapping, and web-information providers needed to return requested content; and
- The AI service provider configured for the app when you use an AI-powered feature.
These providers process information for the purposes of delivering their services to us and may process data in countries other than your own. Their handling of data is governed by their respective terms and privacy policies.
We may also disclose information if reasonably necessary to comply with law, legal process, or a valid government request; protect users, the public, our rights, or our systems; investigate fraud or security issues; or support a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate safeguards.
Google’s privacy practices are described at:
- https://policies.google.com/privacy
- https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy
- https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads
## 4. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, including service delivery, security, troubleshooting, legal compliance, and dispute resolution.
- Location used by the app is generally held in active memory for the current app session. Backend requests and operational logs may temporarily contain an IP address, coordinates, or a map area derived from location.
- Cached flight, airport, search, and AI results are retained for limited periods based on operational cache settings.
- Usage-limit records are retained for the applicable limit period.
- Server and security logs are retained according to our hosting and operational requirements and are then deleted, aggregated, or de-identified when no longer needed.
- According to Google’s published Firebase information, Firebase Crashlytics generally retains crash traces and associated identifiers for 90 days before beginning removal.
- Advertising providers retain advertising information according to their own retention policies, legal obligations, and user settings.
- Emails and privacy requests may be kept as long as necessary to respond, maintain records, and meet legal obligations.
The app currently does not create user accounts. To request deletion of information reasonably linked to you, email **contact@nextapps.tech** with the subject line **“Live Air Traffic Radar Data Deletion Request.”** We may need information sufficient to locate the relevant records and verify the request. Some data may be retained where required by law, for security, or where it cannot reasonably be linked back to you, such as aggregated or de-identified data.
You can delete locally stored app data through Android Settings or by uninstalling the app. You can also reset certain Firebase-related app identifiers by clearing app data or uninstalling the app, subject to Google’s systems and retention practices.
## 5. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information. Production app traffic is configured to use encrypted HTTPS connections. No transmission or storage method is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
## 6. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or restriction of certain personal information, or to object to certain processing. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with a local data-protection authority.
You can:
- Control location permission through Android Settings;
- Review or change advertising consent choices through the app when that option is required and available;
- Reset or delete your Android advertising ID and manage ad personalization through your device’s Android or Google settings;
- Stop future app collection by uninstalling the app;
- Clear locally stored information through Android Settings; and
- Contact us to make a privacy or deletion request.
Because the app does not currently provide an account and much of the technical information is not directly identified by name or email, we may not be able to locate or associate all records with a specific person.
## 7. Children’s Privacy
Live Air Traffic Radar is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13, or the minimum age required by local law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Where applicable, advertising requests will use the age-treatment or child-directed settings required by law and platform policy. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
## 8. International Data Processing
Our service providers may process information in countries where privacy laws differ from those in your country. Where required, we use appropriate measures designed to protect information during international transfers.
## 9. Third-Party Content and Links
The app may display information, images, maps, attribution links, or websites provided by third parties. This Privacy Policy does not govern third-party websites or services that you choose to open. Review their privacy policies before providing information to them.
## 10. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the app, our providers, or legal requirements change. We will update the “Last updated” date above and, where required, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the app after an update is subject to the revised policy.
