• About the Workshop

The Asian Workshop on First-Principles Electronic Structure Calculations is an annual series that began in 1998. It provides a dynamic forum for discussing critical issues in computational condensed matter physics and materials science.

• Purpose

Our principal aim is to offer an opportunity for exchanging ideas and enjoying in-depth discussions on the methodology in computational physics and chemistry, as well as its application to a wide variety of materials that have not only fundamental significance but also industrial importance.

• Participants

The workshop attracts active scientists and researchers in electronic structure theory primarily from Asian countries. However, we warmly welcome participants from around the globe to join our diverse and inclusive scientific community.
