10/7 *PLAN* - Go over all tests done so far & information gathered... Talk about next steps
6/1- Check in with students, go over best practices for glazing, talk through class expectations, demos on glazing, share insights into how glazes work and act, (lots of talking and demos!)
HOMEWORK: Make test pieces, think about main goals for class, Start glazing!
6/8- Printed Handouts! Talk challenges, Repeated issues, etc. Optional discussion time & independent work time
HOMEWORK: Figure out what kind of challenges you're willing to set for yourself!
6/15-Demos! dealing with issues in real time... travel cup, mug 1, funky handle mug... answering questions and talking about personal challenges & independent work time (chat about waxing issues, potential problems)
HOMEWORK: keep working on challenges, explore combos, explore wax, etc.
6/22- More demos, compare challenges, look at class work and demos from last week, answer questions, plate demos, more conversations around wax and wax issues
6/29- FINAL MEETING 😢 Last demos, answer any final questions, encourage continued experimentation, check in about what already completed, redo last week demos if needed,
Reminder... Test glazes in the way you plan to use them later! (flat fired test tiles don't give a great example of how those glazes interact on something like a vase)
