9/1- general glazing demo, with expanded comments from me
revisit initial "beginning class glaze day" but with pauses to talk about the things to pay attention to during each step.
focus on: texture of glaze in bucket, tongs or no tongs, how much in bucket
9/8- chemistry chat, color and surfaces, slight chat about layering potential
chemistry basics: glaze made of 4 main things that make up texture (visual and physical), transparency, color
flux (melt), silica(glass), clay(stability), fun (color, density, opacity/transparency)
color: not same as color theory, very chemistry... brown and blue make black, green with a specific white makes pink, yellow and yellow makes blueish?
glazes usually satin or matte because they have a lot of clay or because lots of fun stuff (vc yellow matte is a "secret fun" glaze, its barely domesticated)
9/15- dip demo of contrast... inside and outside different, 2 ways
9/22- dip demo of BIG or awkward work, maybe pouring... combo with handbuild class?
9/29- LAST MEET, final demo, thoughts, and chat about what next...
Check out class handouts and challenges!

6/29- FINAL MEETING 😢 Last demos, answer any final questions, encourage continued experimentation, check in about what already completed, redo last week demos if needed,
Reminder... Test glazes in the way you plan to use them later! (flat fired test tiles don't give a great example of how those glazes interact on something like a vase)
