Jan 2- It Begins! pass out journals, talk about possibilities, quick thought exercise, BEGIN COLLECTING!!
HOMEWORK: gather scraps, fresh papers, junk mail, stickers, craft supplies you wont use or haven't used yet, anything that catches your eye... options!
Jan 9- Paint papers to add into our journals later, chat about alternative ways to paint & what to paint on... get a little messy!
HOMEWORK! - start at least 5 pages, covering at least 1/4 of the page
Jan 16- Collective IN JOURNAL Work Time! Options for free range and/or guided working available... talk about inspiration & prompts
HOMEWORK! - work on another 5 pages, flag 3-5 pages to come back to and possibly add things to
Jan 23- Talk journal purpose... does it need one for you to continue working? 3-D elements day! Pockets, folders, and windows, Oh My! Possible chat about covers and/or closures
Jan 30- Encouragement for independent work, Optional cover decoration, chat through road blocks

5/2 - Introduction to "Art Journaling", looking at examples, and talking about personal inspiration for journal, working on exterior of journal, Collecting Supplies
5/9 - Working on interior of journals, collecting inspiration and supplies, creating pages to add in, crafting inserts, envelopes, pockets, windows, etc.
5/16 - Show and tell of work so far, Group exercise exploring same content in different ways, talking through how to start planning or choosing content
