Dr. Ashish Singh Parihar is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at PDPM Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing (IIITDM) Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh, India, where he has been serving since August 2024. His academic responsibilities include teaching, research, postgraduate supervision, and academic activities. He teaches courses in areas including Distributed Systems, Operating Systems, Compiler Design, Cloud Computing, Big Data, and Quantum Computing. Prior to joining IIITDM Jabalpur, Dr. Parihar served as an Assistant Professor (Senior Grade) at Jaypee Institute of Information Technology (JIIT), Noida, from March 2023 to August 2024, where he was engaged in teaching and research in areas including Database Management Systems, Operating Systems, C Programming, and Data Structures. Before entering academia, he worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Impetus Infotech (India) Pvt. Ltd., Indore, gaining industry experience in software development and emerging technologies. He holds M.Tech and Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Arunachal Pradesh, India, completed in 2023. He earned his B.E. in Computer Science and Engineering from RGPV Bhopal (MP), India. He also qualified GATE in 2017 and UGC-NET in 2018 during his Bachelor's and Master's studies, respectively. Dr. Parihar's research interests broadly encompass Distributed Systems, Quantum Computing, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Big Data, MLOps, Large Language Models, and intelligent networking systems. His research focuses particularly on distributed algorithms, UAV/FANET networks, quantum-secure communication, machine-learning-enabled distributed systems, and AI-driven computing. His research contributions include work on distributed mutual exclusion, resource allocation and routing in UAV-assisted networks, secure communication using quantum key distribution, machine-learning-based resource sharing, and emerging applications of large language models and AI. He is also actively involved in Ph.D. and M.Tech. supervision, guiding research scholars working on emerging areas such as distributed systems, Generative AI, automated code generation and documentation, AI-driven MLOps, distributed systems, sparse-encoder LLMs, distributed machine learning, Big Data, and LLM inference.
