I am an Assistant Professor in the Economics and Development Studies area at the Indian Institute of Management Udaipur (IIMU).
My research focuses on healthcare, particularly healthcare delivery systems and behavioral sciences in health. I apply principles of economics to investigate how individual and system-level changes impact both individual and public health outcomes.
I collaborate with international funding and implementation agencies, including the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF), Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI), PATH, J-PAL, World Health Partners (WHP), Pfizer, and Resolve to Save Lives.
I hold a PhD and MA in Economics from the University of Southern California, an MA in Economics from the Delhi School of Economics, and a BA in Economics from Hansraj College, University of Delhi.
In addition to research, I am passionate about teaching. I have taught and assisted Microeconomics, Behavioral Sciences, and Statistics courses at the Indian School of Business, Stanford University, Penn State University, and the University of Southern California.
Before joining IIMU, I was the Research Director and Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Max Institute of Healthcare Management at Indian School of Business (ISB). I have also served as a Research Fellow at the Global Asia Institute, National University of Singapore (NUS), and as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at the University of Southern California.
