Rules

Patrons come to Ashcroft pool for the enjoyment of family time and relaxation. Abiding by these simple rules will make the experience safe and pleasant for everyone.

OUR LIFEGUARDS ARE ALWAYS IN CHARGE - NO EXCEPTIONS!

* No running, pushing or skipping (multiple offenses will result in a time-out or dismissal. Period.)

* No horseplay.

* No yelling or screaming.

* No squirting in the face.

* No hitting with pool toys.

* No diving in the shallow end (anywhere inside the yellow buoyed line).

* No glass containers or sharp objects.

* No hanging on the buoyed line or hand railings.

* All children under 10 years of age need to be closely monitored by a parent or caregiver.

* All children need to pass the Lifeguard’s swim test to be permitted to swim or walk unaccompanied around the deep end.

* Only approved toys/floats are allowed in the pool. If you’re uncertain, ask the lifeguard.

* Food and drink should be consumed at tables or grass areas away from pool.

* No smoking inside the pool fenced area. (per Maryland law)

Only Pool staff are permitted in the equipment room.
