I am currently a Von Neumann Fellow at the IAS, and on leave from Northwestern until April 2026, where I am an Assistant Professor. My research is supported by a Sloan Research Fellowship and an NSF Career grant, "Algebraicity and Integral Models of Shimura Varieties".
I graduated with a BSc in Mathematics and Computer Science from Chennai Mathematical Institute in August, 2012. I was a PhD student at Harvard University under the supervision of Mark Kisin, and graduated in May 2017. Before joining Northwestern, I was at MIT as a CLE Moore Instructor until July 2020, and an Assistant Professor at UW Madison until June 2023. Here is my CV.
My research is in arithmetic geometry and number theory. You can find my papers here.
