Nusa Penida - A Small Island Paradise
You've probably seen hundreds of photos across social media of your friends' ultimate vacation in Bali, and they all look stunning. But did you know that Nusa Penida is also a great destination to visit? This small island, just a short boat ride from Bali, is filled with incredible cliffs, pristine beaches and hidden temples.
It's like Bali 20 years ago - with beautiful beaches, amazing dive cites and the friendly locals who still value their culture. Nusa Penida is a paradise for those who want to escape from the hustle and bustle of busy tourist destinations in Bali and enjoy a quiet and peaceful island getaway.
The most famous spot on Nusa Penida is the spectacular Kelingking Cliff which resembles a T-Rex jutting out from the sea with crystal clear water splashing around it. The cliff offers some of the best views in all of Nusa Penida, and there is also a path that leads down to one of the best white sand beaches on the island.
Another interesting place to visit is Atuh Beach which is a nice and quiet beach located on the south end of the island. The access to this beach is a bit tricky and there aren't many sunbeds or shacks here, but it's still worth a visit.
The most secluded area of the island is on the east coast and here you will find some of the most impressive and breath-taking cliffs. The road to the east coast can be very rough and a 4x4 is recommended. It's also a great place to visit if you want to see some of the most important Hindu temples in Nusa Penida.nusa penida private boat tour
