I am an applied microeconomist with an interest in the economics of health, labor, and education.

I am a full professor at the Department of Economics at TOBB ETU, Ankara.

My undergraduate education was in Industrial Engineering at METU, Ankara. ​I received an M.S. degree from NCSU (USA) and a Ph.D. degree from NYU (USA) both in economics.
