To participate in the SL20 Challenge competitions, you must be under the age of 20 until the last day of the month during which the assessment challenge will be taken. If your fourteenth birthday is on or before the last day of the month in which the assessment challenge is scheduled, then you do not qualify in the SL20 program. There are three SL20-General Challenges (GC-SL20) and only one SL18-National Prestige Challenge (NPC-SL20) available in one year. You can register online or manually. Aspiring candidates should register to participate. Before registration, candidates should make sure that they meet the specific requirements of the exact Challenge they want to participate.
The candidate should be under the age of 20 years during the entire month during which assessment challenge will be taken. For example, candidates taking April challenge should not turn 20 years old in the same month. Otherwise, they will be disqualified.
The candidate should be able to produce his/her original birth certificate.
Registration fee US$30 (The registration fee nonrefundable once the Candidate Registration Number (CRN) is generated).
There are two ways one can use to register: online registration and physical registration.
To register online, fill the online application form. All the sections of the form are compulsory. Payment of the US$30 registration fee can be done online using different payment methods. Candidates should follow the payment instructions to avoid any inconveniences. After submitting the application form online, the candidate will receive a registration confirmation email or text message within 72 hours. The message will contain the candidate's unique registration number which they should never loose. This will be required on before you sit for the assessment challenge. SL20-General Challenge (GC-SL20)
This is a high standard SL20 assessment taken by anyone under the age of 20 years. The assessment challenge is taken three times a year in April, August and in December. Each of these three session has only one sitting. The question paper has 100 multiple choice questions carrying one mark each and the paper is 2 hours long. Unlike the NPC-SL20, the GC-SL20 is relatively easy and less demanding. Results will be published within two weeks. In addition to the top ten prize winning candidates, all the students with a score above 95% will be recognized and the top three performing candidates will be awarded some special awards. The GC-SL20 cash prizes are relatives low valued and is very cheap to register for participation.

SL20-National Prestige Challenge (NPC-SL20)
Although the NPC-SL20 is also strictly developed for children under the age of 20, it is a top-rated and a highly valued IQ challenge assessment. It is not just an ordinary quiz, but a battle of the mathematical minds. Unlike the GC-SL20 that is taken three times a year, this challenge is taken only once every year in December. The challenge has three consecutive siting sessions. That is to say, the assessment has three question papers: the first and second rounds are taken during the first week of December on the same day and the final session on a different day, normally in the following week. The NPC-SL20 sessions 1 and 2 are both multiple choice question papers carrying 50 questions each. The time allocation for each of these papers is 90 minutes. Only those who will succeed in session 2 will proceed onto the final session, session 3. Session 3 is considered the toughest session. It consists of 100 multiple choice questions marked out of 500 marks. Each correct answer carries 5 marks and 3 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer. It is a highly demanding exam. The results will be published in the same month, but the prizes and special awards for the winning candidates will be awarded in January of the next coming year. Only top three candidates will be declared the winning candidates. The cash prizes are very lucrative and the special awards are highly valued. In addition to these top three wining candidates, all the participates with an average score above 90% will be recognized and all the candidates with an average score above 95% will receive some special recognition. However, the registration fee for participation in the NPC-SL20 is relatively higher compare to the former.
