This Privacy Policy explains how Ascendra ("the App", "we", "us") handles information when you use our Android game.
1. SUMMARY
Ascendra is an offline skill / arcade stacking game.
We do not require you to create an account, and we do not operate our own cloud server for player profiles.
The App may use:
- Local device storage for game progress and settings
- Google AdMob for advertising (which may collect data as described by Google)
2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
2.1 Information stored only on your device
The App stores the following locally on your device (for example via Android DataStore):
- High score and run statistics
- In-game coins / progress values
- Settings such as sound on/off and vibration on/off
This data stays on your device unless you uninstall the App or clear app data. We do not receive this data on our own servers because the App has no backend login or cloud save.
2.2 Information collected by advertising partners (Google AdMob)
The App shows ads using Google AdMob, including:
- Banner ads
- Interstitial (full-screen) ads
- Rewarded ads (optional, user-initiated)
Google and its partners may collect or process information such as:
- Advertising ID / device identifiers
- IP address
- Device and app information
- Approximate location (derived from IP, where applicable)
- Ad interaction data (views, clicks, impressions)
- Diagnostic / crash or performance data related to ad serving
This processing is performed by Google under their own policies. We do not sell your personal information.

3. PERMISSIONS
Depending on your Android version and device, the App may request or use:
- Internet / Network access — required to load ads
- Vibrate — for optional haptic feedback during gameplay
The App does not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, or files for core gameplay.
4. HOW WE USE INFORMATION
We use local device data to:
- Save your progress, scores, coins, and preferences
- Provide gameplay features such as sound and vibration toggles
Advertising partners use data to:
- Show relevant or contextual ads
- Measure ad performance

5. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
Ascendra is a general-audience casual game and is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country).

We do not share your local high scores or coins with third parties through our own servers, because we do not operate such servers.
7. DATA RETENTION
- Local game data remains on your device until you clear app data or uninstall Ascendra.
- Advertising-related data retention is controlled by Google and its partners according to their policies.
8. YOUR CHOICES AND CONTROLS
You can:
- Turn sound and vibration on/off inside the App
- Limit ad tracking / reset advertising ID in Android settings
- Opt out of personalized ads where available (Android settings / Google settings)
- Uninstall the App at any time to remove local App data from your device
For rewarded ads, viewing is optional; rewards are granted only if you choose to watch.
9. SECURITY
We take reasonable steps to protect the App, including release build obfuscation and secure coding practices.
However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of information processed by third-party advertising services.
10. INTERNATIONAL USERS
If you use the App outside your home country, advertising partners may process data in other countries, including the United States, subject to their privacy policies and applicable law.
11. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the App after updates means you accept the revised policy.
