Uses of a sequence of events include stories,[105] historical events (chronology), directions and steps in procedures,[106] and timetables for scheduling activities. A sequence of events may also be used to help describe processes in science, technology, and medicine. A sequence of events may be focused on past events (e.g., stories, history, chronology), on future events that must be in a predetermined order (e.g., plans, schedules, procedures, timetables), or focused on the observation of past events with the expectation that the events will occur in the future (e.g., processes, projections). The use of a sequence of events occurs in fields as diverse as machines (cam timer), documentaries (Seconds From Disaster), law (choice of law), finance (directional-change intrinsic time), computer simulation (discrete event simulation), and electric power transmission[107] (sequence of events recorder). A specific example of a sequence of events is the timeline of the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster.

Carriers in Italy publish their timetables very early, albeit gradually, before the end of the current year for the following year (often as early as October or November). Typically, the mainland and the mainland-island routes are released first, then the inter-island routes.

Carriers in France publish their timetables very early, albeit gradually, before the end of the year for the following year (usually as early as October or November). Typically, mainland and mainland-island routes are released first, then inter-island routes.

Carriers in Spain publish their timetables very early, albeit gradually, before the end of the year for the following year (usually already in October or November). Typically, the mainland and the mainland-island routes are released first, then the inter-island routes.

The carriers in Turkey usually publish their schedules along the magical Turkish coastal line on time with the Greek timetables, sometimes even a little later. Typically, the publication of Turkish routes takes place gradually between December and May.

As a rule of thumb and according to my experience of having visited almost all greek islands the last 35 years, the only thing that can ruin your greek holidays is not the temperature or rain, but the strong winds that you may come across, which will prevent you from enjoying a day on the beach.

The best month of the year to travel to Greece and to the greek islands is June and September. This is usually called the shoulder season in Greece, while July and August is the peak season (or high season). During these 2 months, you will get warm summer weather (between 20-35 degrees Celsius or 70-95 degrees Fahrenheit) but you will also get fewer tourists and lower prices in general. The summer months in Greece are June, July, and August but most tourists and the large cruise ships go to Greece in July and August so these are the busiest and most expensive months. So, I would say that the best time to go to Greece is mid-June or mid-September where you will get warm weather but fewer tourists.

Well, if you ask a greek this question you will get a different answer! However, it is globally accepted that Santorini is the prettiest island of them all and there are excellent reasons to believe that in general. My personal opinion is that every greek island is an extremely pretty destination and you can definitely find beauty and amazing places on each one of these, even the less known ones.

Born from the volcano eruptions, this exotic island of the Cyclades is located in the heart of the Aegean Sea and has the most beautiful rock formations in the Cyclades. The beaches of the island are as impressive and representative as Milos' image.

The beaches of the island are all very beautiful, each with its own color palette and its own unique features. Some of the most recognizable are Sarakiniko, Kleftiko and Tsigrado.

Sarakiniko is known for its white rocks that resemble a lunar landscape. Kleftiko is not a classic beach but a place with very deep waters ideal for diving. Its main feature is the steeply high rocks, the sea caves and its green waters. Tsigrado has the whitest sand and its emerald waters are "embraced" by the surrounding rocks.

Milos provides the visitor with a multitude of activities and will enchant them with its cultural value, which is made up of numerous monasteries and small museums. It is worth visiting the island's market where you will find products inspired by the local beauty and heritage of the place.

We are trying to book a ferry midweek from Rhodes to Symi for first week in June and staying for two nights. All the ferry companies we have tried are not offering any availability. Are the timetables not out yet or is it too late?

Below is a list of links to local KTEL websites containing timetables and ticket fares (subject to change) for Greek buses, which was compiled after the ex-KTEL website removed all free information in March 2008 and became a paid phone service in Greek only.

Thanks for sharing your experiences and some useful tips like the Ferry hopper App. Wie have been spending four vacations in greek islands so far, using a lot of ferries. My experiences have been good overall, Moste ferries are realiable and I dont think delays are surprising given the distances a lot of ferries go. We only had one heavy delay on a very windy day, and this was also the only Ferry I got seasick on, mostly because it was going at night and I couldnt see anything. I getseasick quite easy normally. Moreover, I have never seen people vomiting on the ferries, so I assume, it must have been bad luck that day for you. Seajets has quite big speedboats which are more stable, too .

To me, ferries are part of the experience of greek island hopping and overall a good option to travel. It is quite a pity and undifferentiated , to give a general refusal to the ferries.

The sun is shining brightly, but it is becoming less dazzling, especially on the islands. Midway through the month, the crowds begin to dwindle, and some boat timetables start to decline. However, fresh figs and grapes are abundant and in season.

Where a course has unseen written examinations, these may be held termly, but, on the majority of our courses, exams are usually taken in the Summer term, during May to June. Exams may be held at other times of the year as well. In most cases, exams are held during the day on a weekday - if you have daytime commitments, you will need to make arrangements for daytime attendance - but some exams are held in the evening. Exam timetables are published online. ff782bc1db
