Location 

Stenger Soccer Complex in Arvada (58th Avenue and Quail Street) – 11204 West 58th Avenue.

Absolutely NO animals are allowed at the Stenger Soccer Complex.  If spectators arrive with animals, they will be asked to leave.

Schedule

12:00 p.m.      Coach’s Meeting at Finish Line

12:30 p.m.      Boys Race

1:15 p.m.        Girls Race

Awards           Following finish of last race - approximately 2:15 p.m.

Important

Water will not be provided at the finish line or on the course. Fountains are available at the restroom facilities. Please plan to bring your own water. 

Course consists of grass, dirt path, and bike path.

Boys - 14:46.5 set by Cerake Geberkidane from Denver East High School (2013)

Girls - 18:09 set by Brynn Siles from Legacy High School (2017) 

Packet Pick-Up

Packet pick-up will be at the registration tent near the finish line.

Timing/Meet Entries

Races will be professionally timed by Simon Escorcia at Colorado Race Timing.  Bib chip timing will be used.  Please register your team on MileSplit - Details will be sent via an email to confirmed teams.

Top 5 finishers will be used for scoring.  In the case of a tie, sixth place finishers will be used.

Please have runners wear their assigned bib on the front of their jersey.  Use 4 safety pins so that the bib will be visible as they approach the finish line.  Pins will be available in your packets.

Awards

Plaques will be presented to the top three teams in each race, and medals will be awarded to the top 20 finishers in each race.

Results

Final results will be posted on MileSplit.

Entry Fee/Payment

There will be a $250 entry fee for co-ed high school teams ($125 for girls only or $125 for boys only).  Payment is due by Monday, September 9, 2024.

Jefferson County schools can make payment via a journal entry.  Please reference SR030 72500 1725.

Directions

• From the East - Take I-70 west to Kipling Street - Exit 267.  Turn right on Kipling Street.  Turn left on West 58th Avenue.  Take a left at Quail Street into the Stenger Soccer Complex.

• From the West - Take I-70 east to 44th Avenue - Exit 266.  Take ramp and bear right at West 44th Avenue.  Turn right on Ward Road.  Turn right on West 58th Avenue.  Take a right at Quail Street into the Stenger Soccer Complex.

Parking

There is ample parking at the complex.  Please instruct your buses to park in the north parking lot of the complex - along the fence (see course map).

Restrooms

Restrooms are located in the middle of the complex, on the west end of the complex on the south side of the creek from the finish/start area, and on the south side of the creek near the east end of the complex (see course map).  Port-a-Lets are also available in the north parking lot.

Team Camps

Set up camps on the north side of the creek and course, and to the east of the finish area (see course map).  Please help us clean up the area at the end of the meet by using the trash bags that will be in your race packet.
