I am a Post Doctoral Research Associate at the Transportation Safety & Crash Avoidance Research (TSCAR) lab at Western Kentucky University in the area of traffic safety and crash analysis. I have completed my Ph.D. from the Department of Civil Engineering, IIT Guwahati, and also worked as a Post Doctoral Fellow at the Transportation Research and Injury Prevention Centre (TRIP-C), IIT Delhi. 

My research interests are in the areas of:

• Traffic safety analysis and crash modeling (distracted driving crashes, motorized two-wheeler crashes, weather-related crashes, and roundabout and R-cut-related crashes)

• Pedestrian walking behavior and dynamics
