Artlantis 2021 integrates LUTs and filters to modify colorimetry and contrast to create a particular atmosphere or correct images in the preview and the final rendering. Artlantis 2021 offers a range of these filters by default. Should users wish to use any custom filter, they can import their preferred LUTs, available on various websites for free or as licensed .cube files.

I am using Revit LT 2017 and trying to export the 3D file into Artlantis to render it. Artlantis instructs me to go to Parallel view (done) and then the Tools menu -- External Tools -- Export to Artlantis Render Studio.

Hi, thanks for your reply. I was looking for a standalone rendering program which I can export to from Revit LT. I know it does not accept plug ins (I've been using it since 2013) but I wondered what my options are if I want to produce rendered images. I have tried the cloud rendering option but would quite like to have a bit more control / options. I spoke to my re-seller who suggested I go back to Sketchup to produce images (not happening) or buy the full version of Revit with 3DS which my budget will not stretch to.

I am currently in the same boat using LT looking for external render and tossing up the idea of moving to Archicad. I have established a good workflow but it would be a logical step if compatibility between external renders isn't easy/functional

Render Manager is driven from a local computer with Artlantis installed. Depending on the settings, the renderings may or may not be calculated on the local computer and on client computers if requested. When rendering on multiple computers the rendering calculation is split and repatriated step by step by the Render Manager.

Artlantis Render Farm is the only render farm in the world dedicated specifically to Abent Artlantis users. The Portugal-based company offers Artlantis users more than 300 CPUs to render animations and still images and works with both Artlantis Render and Artlantis Studio in both 32 and 64-bit versions on Mac and PC.

Users simply submit a project in the login area of the site, fill out the task folder and upload archive.atl files. The rendering farm does the rest and the user then gets a link in their email to download their finished images or rendered animations.

The power of using a render farm is convincing. The company gives an example of why one should consider a render farm. If an animation sequence has 500 frames and takes 10 minutes to render each frame at HD level with radiosity it will take close to 85 hours to complete the animation. By contrast, the same animation would take only 5 hours to complete on the render farm.

I'm having a problem with rendering in Artlantis Studio 4. The software has been working slow before and that's understandable, due to high memory usage. But now I have an issue with one shot. It takes my computer about 50 hours or so, to render it.

It's for my college, Faculty of Architecture. We got a task to visualize a model of our house, made in Archicad 16. The presentation is on monday, and I don't think my computer will get there soon. So I'm asking if anybody, who has Artlantis 4, can render it for me. I would very much appreciate this, because nobody else could help. If not, never mind.

My friend, I just saw your request, and I guess it's too late now. I use Archicad to make my architectural models. I used Artlantis at first, but I don't like the quality of the renders, so I now render them with Vray in Cinema 4D (where I export my models). If you ever need help, don't hesitate to ask me, and I'll see if I can help you. All the best!

When we have gone through the briefing together, I will start the prelimiary design sketches, in which the layout and all requirements of the exhibitioner. That happens in 2D and in 3D. I quickly switch to 3D render software, also while making the preliminary designs.

Create renderings instantly without spending time on calculation, thanks to real-time rendering. When opening a 3D scene, navigating, modifying materials, lights, or the 3D environment can be seen right in the preview window.

Ray-tracing enables light rays to be launched from the viewpoint (the "camera") to test the luminous ambiance of an architectural scene. The real-time simulation of light is essential to convey realism to renderings with special regard to reflections on surfaces, shadows, or ambient occlusion, and all this to create high-quality images.

Artlantis is a standalone 3D rendering application specifically designed for architectural visualizations. Artlantis is not a modeling software but a standalone render engine. It has become one of the favorite rendering applications of architects, designers and urban design professionals thanks to its ease of use and intuitive features. It is all-in-one solution that comes with its own asset libraries, like trees, people, furniture, etc. With Artlantis you can create high-resolution 3D images, iVisit 3D Panoramas, QuickTime VR panoramas, QuickTime VR objects and animations. Artlantis is the leader in preview window technology; the main part of the interface is taken by a real-time preview window.

In previous versions, Artlantis product line was composed of three solutions: Artlantis Studio, Artlantis Render and library known as Artlantis Media. Artlantis Studio and Artlantis Render were merged into single Artlantis. Artlantis Studio enhances your design capabilities by creating QuickTime VR panoramas, VR objects and animations. With Artlantis Render you can create still image renderings. Studio and Render versions are the same in terms of the basic functionality; the difference is that Studio has the capabilities of animation and QuickTime VR panoramas. These two applications are completed with Artlantis Media, themed collections of materials, parametric textures and 3D objects. These are produced by industry partners or independent designers, in addition to the standard library.

Please Note: Artlantis RT can be used independently by new users, or in conjunction with Artlantis 2021 (or earlier versions) to drastically speed up your rendering production. You can start your project with earlier Artlantis versions and import it to Artlantis RT with just a few clicks.

Artlantis RT boasts full compatibility with a wide range of modelling software currently available in the market, and empowers users to effortlessly generate top-notch, photorealistic renderings. You have the flexibility to opt for one of two rendering modes. The Real-Time mode is your go-to option when you require rapid and efficient rendering, while the Ray Tracing mode delivers impeccable, high-quality images. Of course, the choice is yours, and you can even combine both modes for a comprehensive rendering experience.

With Real-Time functionality at your disposal, you can generate instant renderings without the need for time-consuming calculations. Upon opening a 3D scene, you can seamlessly navigate, make material and lighting adjustments, and preview changes within the preview window. This real-time feedback streamlines your workflow, saving you valuable time. You don't have to possess the skills of a graphic designer or an image specialist, nor do you need a super-powerful computer to effortlessly create lifelike scenes with ease and speed. Artlantis RT boasts an ergonomic and user-friendly graphical interface, making it accessible and straightforward to grasp, even for beginners. Learning and using the software is a breeze, ensuring a smooth experience for all users.

Ray Tracing enables light rays to be launched from the viewpoint (the 'camera') to test the luminous ambiance of an architectural scene. The real-time simulation of light is essential to convey realism to renderings with special regard to reflections on surfaces, shadows, or ambient occlusion, and all this to create high-quality images. Artlantis RT is the only rendering software to offer such a high performance in terms of quality/calculation time ratio: your work is fast and well, with no down time or latency, to obtain strikingly realistic images.

In this tutorial we are going to go through the basics from import of SketchUp model to final render. I will touch on all the important elements required to achieve your final render including the following:

Model Import, Cameras, Sun, Materials, Environment, Lights and Rendering.

The software interface is, honestly, quite simple.

The right window shows a real-time preview of your render. Navigation inside this space is close to the SketchUp one.

thanks for this information! but I still have one problem.

when I put shaders on my model, for instance there are strange patterns in the bricks.. paraboles and half circles.. if you zoom in close enough they disappear, but if you want not only a rendering of a couple of bricks then the paraboles and circles appear ..

do you guys know how to get this thing normal?
