Bristol Cultural & Historical Foundation

The Bristol Cultural & Historical Foundation (BCHF) preserves and promotes the history and culture of the riverfront in Bristol with tours, presentations and special events.

Each year on the third Saturday in October, BCHF sponsors Historic Bristol Day, a celebration of Bristol's historic past that brings together historic re-enactments, remembrances, and entertainments, as well as large numbers of artists and crafters.  The Artists of Bristol participate in this annual celebration with an exhibit of member art, presented for public enjoyment and for sale.  Member artists provide demonstrations of their processes. Most recently, the AOB exhibit and sale has been located adjacent to the Grundy Museum, on Radcliffe Street.  Members participate in this exhibit free of charge, and enjoy an outstanding location on the Delaware River.

In 2023, BCHF will co-sponsor an AOB member exhibit at the BCHF headquarters on Cedar Street. This exhibition will coincide with BCHF's annual spring Tea, an important gathering and fundraiser for the BCHF.  This event, and and the month-long AOB exhibit at BCHF, is a great opportunity for AOB artists to share our work with the Bristol community.
