Following an adventure of a lifetime touring the United States, my sister-in law requested this image of a bear, her favourite animal that she witnessed in its natural habitat. Originally completed in watercolour, the challenge was to replicate the beautiful translucence of the original colours in oils.  I really enjoyed getting to use my more vibrant colours which underpin the image.  This painting now graces the walls of her home in Spain.
