Our goal for Art in City Hall is to provide a public venue to raise awareness of the visual arts and to give artists an opportunity to show their work and to connect with members of our community. Prospect Mayor Doug Farnsley's sister Ann Farnsley was a professional artist. Ann moved to Vevay, Indiana, in 1970, and became a committed and active member of that sophisticated, small river town. Ann and her life served as the inspiration for Art in City Hall.

Prospect Mayor Doug Farnsley
Youthful influences resonate as the Spring Season shines at Prospect City Hall's first show of 2026. This show features professional and student artists (18-30'sh) working in fiber, glass, clay, paint and mixed media.
The opening reception is scheduled for March 22 from 2pm to 5pm.
Participating artists will be posted early February.
Following the opening, the exhibition can be seen during regular City Hall business hours :
Monday 8:30 – 6:30
Tuesday through Thursday 8:30 – 4:30
Friday 8:30 – 3:30
